California Guard Card Training Courses:

 

Module I: These are the initial courses required just to obtain a California Guard Card.

State certified and required training in order to obtain a California Guard Card.

Module I: A. Powers to Arrest

4 Hour Course

Module I: B. Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) & Terrorism Awareness

4 Hour Course

IN-PERSON or ONLINE

Module II: 16 hours of Module II courses required in order to maintain your California Guard Card. Module II courses do not have to be completed unless, you've already obtained a guard card and are employed as Security professional.

Training is only required within the First 30 Days of starting employment.

Module III: 16 hours of elective courses are required in order to maintain your California Guard Card. Module III courses do not have to be completed unless, you've already obtained a guard card and are employed as Security professional.

Training is only required within the First 6 months of starting employment.
